Introduction

SENSE (2020) is a website composed of four small sensorial games inspired by daily life – Who is the Lucky One, Burning Love, Steamy or Speedy, and Hope for Light. It aims to bring the player awareness to his or her living environment by augmenting the sensation with minimal design of sounds and graphics. SENSE (2022) was renovated from SENSE (2020). The renovation was made to design a smooth and sensorially evoking transition between different scenes.

Who is the Lucky One: generates a cookie with a random amount of chocolates that allows the player to bite it only three times.

Burning Love: a fireplace simulation game that allows the player to add wood and feel the warmth visually and acoustically.

Steamy or Speedy: a shower simulation game that recreates the scenario of showering by containing hot and cold water options and obtuse reaction to the controller.

Hope for Light: needs the player to find the button to turn on the light with a beam of very weak brightness.
